PAYMENT METHODS

HOSTING

  • Payment for hosting plans is payable upfront, prior to package setup.

  • The client may choose to pay hosting fees either annual or monthly. Annual payments may be made via direct deposit, or EFT. Monthly payments are payable by debit order.

WEB DESIGN

  • A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement. The website will only go live once complete and the remaining 50% balance has been paid by the client.

DELAYS AND REFUNDS

  • With regards to web design, web domain and mailbox transferal: Should the client and their current service provider not respond and act on content and transfer requests timeously, design could be delayed. Mailbox transfers usually take 24-48hrs ‘down-time’ to propagate.

  • No refunds are granted once the client has been invoiced and deposit has been paid.

MAILBOXES

EMAIL SETUP ON DEVICES

  • Apex offers an online mail server where the client can access their email directly. Should the client wish to configure their mailboxes with MS Outlook or any other platform, either on their computers or mobiles devices, we can assist with our available step by step tutorials. Should the client require direct assistance from a technician via online remote access to their computer, one can be assigned to them. Remote technical support will involve a service fee. Apex is happy to assist with custom tech support at affordable rates but cannot be held liable for any issues which are not related to our own servers, such as external servers, Exchange Servers, Mobile Apps or any other non Apex Hosting platforms which the client might be making use of.

EMAIL SECURITY

  • Apex Hosting services includes anti-spam and anti-malware security on all mailboxes. It is however the client's responsibility to keep their passwords safe and secure on their own computers and mobile devices. Any emails which the client may receive from third parties containing viruses, spam or malware, and which are opened by the client remains the clients responsibility. Should the client experience such issues, we can assist with tech support at affordable rates.

WEBSITES

WEB FILE SECURITY

  • Apex Hosting maintains high end and reliable website security and software updates for every website we design. Security and software updates for websites which are designed by the client and not by us is the responsibility of the client.

SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

  • All of our Hosting plans include free WordPress (CMS) Web-Building software installation.

BACKUPS

  • We keep a backup of all your website files. Full automatic backups are conducted weekly, while incremental backups are conducted on a daily basis. Backup files are kept for a maximum of two weeks. Please note, it is recommended that the client schedules regular backups of their web files with independent backup software as an additional safety feature. Personal backups of your web files is also recommended.

  • Websites designed by Apex Hosting includes both automated backups as well as personal backups. It is recommended that clients who request CMS dashboard access to those websites built by Apex Hosting, in order to make their own website changes, please notify us when such changes are made. In this way we can ensure that your personal backups are always up-to-date.

TRANSFERS AND CANCELLATIONS

WEB PACKAGES

  • A 30 Day notice period is required before cancellation of hosting packages.

  •  The Special Website Package and Hosting Plan is subject to include a small designer & developer advertising footer below each page.

  •  The Special Website Package and Hosting Plan is conditional to the client hosting with Apex. Should the client wish to transfer to another ISP, web files may be purchased at a fee of R1800.00 which constitutes the balance of a regular 5 page website design without hosting.

DOMAINS

  • Should the client wish to terminate their hosting and transfer their domain, it is the client’s responsibility to notify Apex of their intentions before the annual domain renewal date occurs. Should the client fail to notify Apex of such intentions they will be liable for the automatic domain name renewal fee before the domain name can be released.

WEB FILES

  • Should the client transfer to a different service provider, new database setup/connection string updates/email backup/mailboxes/security software and maintenance etc. will become the responsibility of the client and their new service provider and/or designer.

OVER USAGE CHARGES

  • Disc Space Over-Usage: R5.00 per 10MB (SA and DE)

  • Traffic consumption is subject to reasonable use.

COPYRIGHT

  • Apex Hosting will not be held liable for any copyright disputes resulting from copy or images used by the client, or supplied to us by the client.

DOMAIN SQUATTING

  • Reselling Domains to third party's is illegal in several Countries and is therefore not allowed allowed by Apex Hosting. Multiple Domains registered through us are for the Profile Owner’s websites alone.

APEX VALUES

  • Apex Hosting does not support websites containing adult content and will not support or be held liable for any client who uses their website for any unlawful or illicit purposes.
